Walmart Pharmacy Policies - Oxycodone Refill

Yesterday, on January 12 at around 3:00 PM I brought in a prescription of Oxycodone and a prescription of Methadone to your Anderson, Ca. store. The girl at the window looked at her computer and said everything was good and that it would take about 30 minutes to complete.
I was going to wait for it as I had no more of either one. About 30 minutes later I went back to the pharmacy to pick them up and the girl at that window said the Methadone was completed but that they were out of the Oxycodone. I told her that the first girl said that everything was there otherwise I would have went to Rite Aid and had them filled. She said that she was sorry about the mistake, I then asked her if she could at least give me a enough Oxycodone to last until they got some more in and then take that amount away from what I had coming. I explained to her I had no more and that I would be in a lot of pain without them and after all, it was their mistake. She told me that it was against company policy and that there was nothing that they could do. I then asked here when she would be getting more in and she asked somebody and she came back and said it would be the next day (today). I said okay I would wait until Tuesday because my wife also took Oxycodone and that I could borrow enough from her until they came in the next day but that whatever I borrowed I would have to give back to her (She has an injured back and also has MS). It is now Tuesday afternoon so my wife called to see if my Oxycodone prescription was ready yet as I was going to need to take one soon. The person on the phone said it might not get in until Friday. He said that those type of medications usually comes in sometime between Wednesday and Friday. My wife then explained the whole story to him again, I had her tell him just to give me my prescription back and I would go elsewhere. He said he couldn%u2019t do that because it had two prescriptions on it and that I took one and it was against store policy to give it back. I then said that I would be willing to go to the Walmart in Redding to pick them up as I needed the medication today. And you know what he said, he said, it%u2019s against store policy as they are not connected. All I know is that it was Walmart%u2019s mistake and that I have done everything I could possibly do to make it right. I offered just to take a few to keep me going until the store got more, I offered to take my prescription back and go somewhere else and I even offered to drive to another town to go to a another Walmart but every answer I got was that it was against store policy.
