  • Pharmacist Saving Lives and Families

I recently took my prescription to the counter at my local Walmart where an acquaintance of mine happens to be the pharmacist there. Recently I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and had been prescribed two rounds of Vicodin back to back. My wife picked it up for me and I was unaware that the dosage frequency was reduced on the second bottle. So when I attempted to refill I was too early.. At first I was taken aback until i realized my error as Adrian pointed out that the prescription said 1 per does no longer 2 per dose. He said very calmly "are you not taking these pills... More...

  • Poor service

I called in a refill prescription on Sunday, November 6th at 10:02 am. When my order was taken, I asked the clerk what time the med's would be ready for pickup. He told anytime after 12:30pm. I went to the store at precisely 1:04 and was told that my order was not ready and it would take an additional 15 minutes to get it ready. I told the clerk that this was the reason I was not doing business with Walmart Pharmacy because there is always sorry excuses. Then your pharmacist very rudely told me it takes 3 hours to fill a prescription, of which, I told him not to get on my case and to... More...

This Walmart Pharmacy has got to be one of the most AWFUL pharmacies EVER. My dad has COPD and needed his "Rescue" Inhaler refilled, the girl at the counter told him he had to wait 2 days to get it filled and maybe he shouldn't ABUSE his inhaler. I think NOT! If I knew her name and knew she still worked there, She would not be able to leave the ER for a few days, I am SOOOOO MAD. What makes these people think they can treat customers this way? I have had ALL my parents scripts moved and will no longer EVER do business with these people. More...

  • I think chimps could do a better job

The Walmart Pharmacy on Ramsey St in Fayetteville, NC has got to be one of the worst in exhistance. I have been having problems with them for well over a year. They are unable to fill a prescription properly to save their lives. They can't count, they can't read, they don't follow their own policies, and the worst thing is they can't admit a mistake. It's always someone else's fault. They take responsibility for nothing! The pharmacy manager Rob is arrogant and always has an excuse as do his employees. They are absolutely horrible. I've had my last... More...

  • Refuses Union insurance

For 20 years we had our prescriptions filled at Wal Mart Pharmacy. We still have the same insurance, but the new card has an Union insignia on it. When the tech saw that she informed me Wal Mart will no longer accept the insurance card because itis Union and Wal Mart hates Unions. I did find a better pharmacy at the same prices, I think Wal Mart must be paranoid or something. I also seldom shop at Wal Mart any more.It will do not good to post location as no one from Wal Mart will ever respond. The location was the Wal Mart in Red Wing Minnesota More...

  • Worst Service Ever!

I have used Walmart as my Pharmacy for several years in Paragould. We recently moved to Beebe, and I must say their Pharmacy has the worst service I have ever seen. I have noticed that they tell EVERYBODY that it will be at least 30 minutes before they can fill a prescription. It doesn't matter if they are busy or there is no one there at all, it always takes at least 30 minutes. Today I went in and there was one person who was waiting on a bench...no one else in line. I gave them a written prescription and the lady said it would be at least an hour. I told her I had two... More...

  • Walmart Pharmacy Policies

Yesterday, on January 12 at around 3:00 PM I brought in a prescription of Oxycodone and a prescription of Methadone to your Anderson, Ca. store. The girl at the window looked at her computer and said everything was good and that it would take about 30 minutes to complete. I was going to wait for it as I had no more of either one. About 30 minutes later I went back to the pharmacy to pick them up and the girl at that window said the Methadone was completed but that they were out of the Oxycodone. I told her that the first girl said that everything was there otherwise I would have went... More...

I called to check the amount of my prescription, and was told that my insurance was expired by a very rude tech. I then asked to be connected to someone else. The pharmacist I spoke was any better. I tried to explain that I had just come in to pick up a prescription a week prior and there was no way my insurance was expired. This was the pharmacy at the Walmart store in Stockbridge, GA on North Henry Blvd. More...

I had called in a prescripition the recording said no refills. So, I gave the pharmacy a extra day to call my doctor. Then I called in the RX number and the recording said the pharmacist needs to speak to you , but they are closed. So I called the next day and talked to a pharmacist, she told me to call my doctor and ask them to return the sheet that the pharmacy had sent, so they could fill my prescripition. I called my doctors office and they said they were doing just that as I spoke to them. So, the next day I went to wa-lmart to pick up my prescripition. When I got they told me it... More...

I live in dallas, a major city, with many walmarts. I have had numerous promblems with the pharmacy. First of all, they always pull up old doctors, and always tried to charge an outdated credit card, no matter how many times i correct them. Not to mention, their attitude ia horrible.they never apalogize or admit their faults. There is one really nice guy there who always works with you and actually looks as t your history. But everyone else just walks away. Today thwy straight up lied to me. They wouldnt give me one days worth of strattera until my doctor got back to them. Something they... More...

Here in Wisconsin, a new law went into effect stating that pharmacies have to get photo identification for schedule 2 & 3 controlled substances. My drug, clonazepam, is a schedule 4 drug not covered by the law but I still need to show photo id. The pharmacist said it's their "policy" Their policy just lost them a customer. • Walmart Pharmacy miss filled Rx - SE 192nd Ave Vancouver, WA

On 06/30/2014 I picked up my Rx's at the mentioned Walmart Pharmacy. I specifically asked the clerk, on loan from the Battleground, WA Walmart, if there were 2 asthma inhalers in the bag as I had a problem last time. She looked and said "yes". The pharmacist, Billy, had to release 2 of my Rx's to me. When he pulled the inhaler from the bag to verify the info I saw there was only 1. I told him there were suppose to be 2 and the clerk had just said there were 2. He looked at the RX that was sent electronically from my Dr (refill authorization) and said should only... More...

To Whom it May Concern, I've been using your pharmacy located at your stor #3145 (101 Edgeley Blvd.Vaughan, ON. L4K 4Z4) for the last 6 years. recently the customer service in this location has taken a nosedive and by far is one of the worse I've seen in any retail store, in Canada or abroad) Here are some examples: CS reps completely ignore the fact that there are customers waiting at the counter until you shout for help and even they notice the pretense of the customer they take their time to respond. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. No greeting and help if you ask... More...

I truly agree with all the other consumers complaints about the Wal-Mart pharmacy. There's a woman pharmacist that 's very nasty on the phone and a pharmacy clerk that is very racist, I mean a total bitch! This review is about the Wal-Mart on South Lake West Columbia, South Carolina. I took my prescription to be filled yesterday. When I got home and counted because it looked like it was short my normal amount. The amount on the bottle was right but the actual count was not. They told me to speak to the manager the next day. The manager informed me the count was right and the discrepancy was not on their part. I was the only one that handled it after it was purchased so I know it was not my error. The manager was rude. • WalMart Pharmacy Newton, Kansas

I have had several incidents with the Pharmacy Manager, Kelly Gish (Kansas Board of Pharmacy License 1-13176), at the Newton, Kansas Walmart (store 2428). Due to my health concerns (diabetes, heart disease and kidneys disease) and otherwise busy life, I have just let the matters go. But the more I think about these incidents, the more I think that there are probably many others who have had similar problems. For that reason, I have decided to post this to your web page. I saw my doctor last month (March 2013). She advised me to increase my glipizide (a diabetic drug) dosage to 1.5... More...

  • wait time at Wal-Mart's Pharmacy

So... from 5 to 10 minutes wait as instructed by the Pharmacist - or whoever it was with no coat or the name tag - I've waited 45 minutes for my mother’s prescription. Not that it was busy, nor it was closing time, nor the pills were so unusual that they had to be picked from the "pill tree". I've counted 7 "busy bees" behind the pharmacy counter, but if only that produced quick results! Nope.... When you just stand there for 45 minutes - it really feels much longer. I am not going to go there anymore - I'll pay extra somewhere else. My time is... More...

  • Hour plus wait in line!

I just moved to the area and am VERY disappointed in the Kennewick Washington Walmart pharmacy. Firstly, all of the techs were chatting to each other and ignored me for quite awhile when I brought my prescription to them. They said it would be 30 minutes. I shopped around and came back about 40 minutes later. They said it would be a few more minutes. 20 minutes later I put myself back in line, since they were more concerned helping other people. The pharmacy at the Hastings Mi. store was not open this morning. I waited until 9:30 am It says that it opens at 9am. There are three people listed as the pharmacists, can't one of them be on time ? Many people waited and left before me. I think that maybe I do need my medicine.

I get a prescription for $8.00 a month for $60 pills for blood pressure from Walmart. I called last Thursday and ordered my refill. The voice mail said it would be ready that night. I never received a text message it was ready. I went up there Friday afternoon and they told me they were out of the medication and would order and have the following Monday. They supplied me with 6 tablets for $4.00. I called Monday and he pharmacist was very nice but said the medication had not been ordered. He would order and have Tuesday. I called today and it was ready for $7.61. So I am overpaying by 3.61 because that is the way the "computer" prints it out. They told me they could not override the amount. So in essence I was being overcharged $3.61 because of their screw-up. There Walmart goes - screwing a customer because of their mistake. I am having my prescription transferred as I write this. No more dealing with Walmart. I will gladly pay a bit more to avoid the headache of the morons at that store.

Walmart Pharm. Signal Butte Rd & US60, Mesa, AZ. My wife's doc phoned in a scrip for CIPRO on Fri 2/3/12 for her for anti-biotics for a urinary tract infection. Doc gave wife 1 pill at the ofc. Walmart Pharm usually calls when scrip's ready, but no call. Next day wife called WMPharm to see if it were ready, but they were out of CIPRO and none expected 'til Monday. No one called her. This is an anti-biotic. They told her to choose another pharmacy and the pharmacist could call them to get the scrip transferred. She called a Walgreens and they phoned WMT and got the scrip. IN THAT THEY NEVER DID HER THE COURTESY TO CALL HER THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE 3 DAYS LATE WITH AN ANTIBIOTIC, wife is DONE! with Walmart Pharmacy. I am sure they are underpaid and overworked. We're Walgreens bound.

Of the past 7out of 9 times to have prescription (controlled)refilled, they where not faxed as promised, (checked with my dr.) this newest feasco was supposed to been faxed on last wed. I called fri. and diff. tech said it had NOT been faxed, even though I asked wed. tech. when she would fax it (she stated right now) Is there a standard gov. procedure that rquires a certain time frame of when & how to submit refills? I am horified that I am FORCED TO LIVE IN PAIN while they drop the ball & I fall through thier cracks!!!. Nor are you allowed to switch a controlled precpt. more then once a yr.I will be going up to corporate as far as I can, and start recording the phone conversations, their names , times ectra. So i have the evidence to prove this gross delema of walmart pharmacy. Been forced to live in pain while waiting for them. should justify some kind of lawsuit, because this didnt happen just once but SEVEN TIMES this yr. Anyway I will be contacting corporate on this matter because i read others blogs, it appears there is a serious problem

I went to the Walmart Pharmacy in Renton, Washington to get a refill on pain medicine. I stopped there after completing a treatment of chemo. I really just wanted to go home and sleep but I needed these pills. After a 20 minute long line for drop off I was told it would be 35 minutes before the prescription would be filled. I said ok, and spend the time walking around the store. About 25 minutes into the 35 minute wait my phone rang and a text message said my prescrpition was ready! I was elated and went to pick it up. But a very rude tech informed me that my prescription was not ready. I showed her my text message she got into my face and said "It's not ready!" I stood there waiting for her to get it ready. She yells back at me to take a seat! I was near tears at this point. I was a Store manager for three different companies the past 20 years and one of the stores had a pharmacy. Customer service was parmont especially for a pharmancy. About 15 minutes later I got another text saying my prescription was ready. I went up to the same girl and I asked her if she was sure it was ready this time. She said "Are you sure that wasn't an old text." Not I am sorry for any inconvience or there was a mistake. No it was my fault according to her. So I informed her that I will not be back to this Pharmacy again.

I am somewhat surprised to read all the negative comments about the pharmacy. I use the one on Signal Mountain, TN. and I've never met a nicer bunch of people. They are caring and concerned, they take their time with you and will explain something to you until they are sure you understand. I've never asked for their help on anything and been refused. Maybe this is just a very special group of people, but they are awesome. Maybe the problem is that people are much quicker to complain than they are to compliment. This group is gold and I hope they stay here forever.

I went to a Walmart pharmacy to get an antibiotic prescription filled for my sister, who had had a perforated intestine. I had never used their pharmacy before. I took the prescription to the proper window and left it with the person there; she told me to come to the "Pick Up" counter in half an hour. I waited half an hour and went to the Pick Up counter, where there was no line. The Check Out counter had a line, so we figured we had to pick up the prescription and then wait in the other line to pay for it, so my wife got in the line. As soon as I came to the Pick Up place, the woman there rudely and loudly said "Go to the back of the line." I did not know what I did wrong, but I joined my wife in the other line. By now she had progressed a little and there were three or four people behind her. As soon as I joined my wife, the woman at the counter screamed at me "Go to the back of the line!" About 15 people were present, and I was embarrassed by the loud and rude command. By this time I was pretty teed off; when I explained that my wife had a place in the line, the woman backed off and offered no apology. I also told the woman in a voice loud enough to be heard by others that "I will be damned if I ever buy anything else in this pharmacy!" And, I haven't, and I won't. Doesn't Walmart give a hoot about how it treats customers?

I have gone to and called Wal Mart Pharmacy in Eastland Texas various times over the last 3 mos. to purchase a primatene mist inhaler or generic. Each time I have gone or called I was told that they do not have what I am looking for and are not receiving any. What is the problem. I have been without an inhaler for almost 3 weeks now. There are only 2 pharmacies in this small town and neither one of them can seem to get a shipment of these over-the-counter medications.
